We would like to thank all the District Brothers who came out to join Eta Pi Lambda Chapter and participate in the 36th Annual Pasadena Black History Parade (PBHP) that occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2008.
The parade length was about 1 1/2 miles and began at Charles White park and proceeded down Fair Oaks , ending at Jackie Robinson Park.
The PBHP in one of the oldest Black History Parades in the nation and probably the oldest in CA. All the other NPHC organizations participate, along with over 50 community organizations and local schools. Our chapter has been involved in the parade for a number of years.
We enjoyed the district partnering this year. Next year, we also anticipate being joined by young black men from Pasadena City College (PCC).
Please share this information as needed. Here are a few photos from this year’s event!
