Pasadena Black History Parade 2020

We would like to thank all the District Brothers who come out to join Eta Pi Lambda Chapter and participate in the 37th Annual Pasadena Black History Parade (PBHP) that occurred on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

The parade length was about 1 1/2 miles and began at Charles White park and proceeded down Fair Oaks , ending at Jackie Robinson Park.
The PBHP in one of the oldest Black History Parades in the nation and probably the oldest in CA. All the other NPHC organizations participate, along with over 50 community organizations and local schools. Our chapter has been involved in the parade for a number of years.
We enjoyed the district partnering this year. Next year, we also anticipate being joined by young black men from Pasadena City College (PCC).
One of Southern California’s largest Black History parades begins at 10:00 a.m. at Charles White Park (Ventura & Fair Oaks Ave.) and ends at Robinson Park (1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.). Stay and Enjoy the Festival at Robinson Park from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Festival features live bands, dance performances, community booths, guests speakers, food to purchase and fun! Proudly coordinated by the Black History Planning Committee, and the City of Pasadena’s Human Services and Recreation Department.
